Staff Attorney (Full-Time)

 

The Staff Attorney will represent clients in civil legal matters with an emphasis in family law. Applicants should have at least one year of experience in family law and victim advocacy.

 

Qualifications: Law degree from an accredited law school and license to practice law in Pennsylvania.  A PA Child Abuse History Clearance, PA Criminal Background Check, and FBI Criminal Background checks are required.

 

Salary: $67,000.00 per year

Staff Attorney (Part-Time)

​

Financial Controller

 

This position is solely responsible for all accounting tasks.

 - Responsible for fiscal management and financial administration. Assure the maintenance and completion of all financial records as required by state and federal law, funding source regulations, and agency internal controls and policies.

 - Provide grant management through the preparation of funding source invoices, fiscal reports, and contract management. Determine the allocation of costs between the various grant and non-grant funding sources.

 - Manage up-to-date accounts receivable and accounts payable records. Prepare and maintain records for non-profit fund accounting.  - Maintain and complete general ledger and general journal postings on a monthly basis. Reconcile bank statements and deposits.

 - Prepare monthly financial statements, budget materials for board and committee meetings, invoice payments, and financial reports as required.

 - Provide fiscal information to the Executive Director and advise the Executive Director of fiscal concerns as may arise.

 - Consult with the Executive Director regarding variances and necessary budget revisions.

 - Review agency time sheets for accuracy; process time sheets for payroll company; coordinate payroll deductions as required.

Qualifications: Accounting degree from an accredited school and/or CPA. A minimum of three years of general accounting experience is required, as experience and knowledge of grant funding sources and contract management.
